TE Connectivity launches the AMPMODU breakaway headers
TE Connectivity (TE) has announced the introduction of AMPMODU breakaway headers for board-to-board or board-to-wire applications. The product will now be manufactured locally in TE’s Bangalore manufacturing plant. With this localization, TE aims to achieve a shorter lead time of delivery of this product to its customers. The product will be available in single row and dual headers from single position to 40 positions with varying pin lengths and plating options.
AMPMODU breakaway headers or unshrouded headers are standard 0.100 inch centerline PCB mountable connectors, which are used in board-to-board or board-to-wire applications. These headers are the easiest way to connect PCBs, and once soldered they can be used to configure and test the PCBs. The application of AMPMODU cuts across industries - from automation control panels to medical to datacommunications and automotive.
