Sharma, chief executive officer (CEO), Den Networks Limited, as the new president with effect from April 1, 2019 post expiration of the term of Rajan Gupta, the current president.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched its fibre to the home service (FTTH), Bharat Fiber in India. This move is aimed at better competing with competitors Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) and Bharti Airtel.
The Madras High Court has issued a notice to the Tamil Nadu government after receiving a petition from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) that challenges a circular issued by local authorities asking BSNL to pay an annual track rent for laying optical fibre cables along public roads.
